For years we have proudly served as the Great Start to Quality Wayne-Oakland-Macomb Resource Center.

While our name is changing, our commitment to the providers we support remains exactly the same.

Beginning October 1, 2026, we will be known as the Metro Detroit Resource Center!

This new name better reflects the broader community we serve and our continued focus on supporting high-quality early childhood experiences across the region.

In the coming weeks, you'll begin to see events and opportunities under our new name. We’re excited to share this next chapter with you and look forward to continuing our work with the same dedication you've previously seen from us.

Leaps & Bounds Spring Conference

On Saturday, April 18th, Leaps & Bounds Family Services hosted a conference for child care providers! Providers were able to choose the training track that best suited their interests; one track revolved around strengthening families and the other was catered toward Directors. Additionally, providers had the chance to visit multiple vendor tables and win exciting giveaways. Thank you to everyone who spent the day with us expanding their knowledge!
